At the Tsukuba NIAS Science Cafe, Satoko NONAKA, Assistant Professor at the University of Tsukuba, gave a lecture titled Increase GABA – increase the value of tomatoes by genome editing”. A proposition of this lecture was “Giving plants the function to make people happy”, and a brochure “Genome editing – new breeding technology -” was distributed by the Agency of Agriculture.
