Hitachi announces test production of human cell sheets in automated closed system under GMP conditions
The modular system allows a dosage of 900 L and has a footprint of 0.6 m2. The machine was tested in cooperation with Professor Mitsuo OKANO‘s group at Tokyo Women’s Medical University who is tackling regenerated tissues such as a cornea, cardiac muscle, esophagus, and cartilago.
