Based on technology for knee cartilage repair developed at Mukogawa Women’s University and on equipment for tissue expansion developed by Kawasaki Heavy Industries under a NEDO contract, the first clinical trials were now done at Chulalongkorn University and Srinakhanrinwirot University, Bangkok. This venture is important to Japan for developing ASEAN markets for her regenerative medicine products and technologies.
