Nippon Paper Industries opens world’s largest cellulose nanofiber facility

The plant, located at Ishinomaki, Miyagi Prefecture, can produces 500 tons/y of cellulose nanofiber (CNF). CNFs are prepared from wood pulp chemically treated by TEMPO catalytic oxidation.
