In this project, 23 automobile, accumulator, material manufacturers and 15 universities/public research institutes cooperate to solve bottleneck problems of all solid-state lithium ion batteries, evaluating the characteristics of new materials and mass production processes. The focus will be on all solid-state lithium ion batteries (LIB) using an inorganic solid electrolyte, which have high flame retardancy and stability even if the energy density is increased. There is the feasibility of ultra fast charging in less than 10 minutes.
