The medium developed by Axelta can cultivate large amount of cells by floating them in a liquid medium, without using a carrier. As a result, cells can be removing cells without separation from a carrier, reducing cell damage and improving their quality. By this technical licensing, Hitachi Kasei will strengthen its technical capabilities in contract manufacturing business.
