In the program, NEC Solution Innovator Co. and others will explore to produce methane from exhaust CO2 by means of electrochemically produced „green“ hydrogen technology and thus replace part of the methane in imported natural gas. Within the program, there will also be R&D of CO2-based land farming technology, efficiently dissolving high concentration CO2 contained in flue gas from coal-fired power plant in sea water and cultivate seaweed.
