TS Technology and the Nara Institute of Science and Technology have developed AMATERUS AI as part of a NEDO project. The program combines AI-driven synthesis route searching, quantum-chemical reaction evaluation, and conceptual process planning. A service based on this system has been available since September 30.

In a pharmaceutical synthesis case study using AMATERUS AI, the workload dropped from 64 to 12 person-weeks.
