The Japanese Society for Bioscience, Biotechnology and Agricultural Chemistry (JSBBA), which will hold its Annual Meeting 2018 with about 4000 attendants from March 15 – 18 in Nagoya, has announced awards for presentations from industry (about half of the 10.000 society members are from companies). Three of the awards are: 1. Research and development for real production and commercialization of reduced coenzyme Q10″, Kaneka, 2. “Development of soy sauce containing high blood pressure-lowering peptides by innovation of brewing technology” Kikkoman, and “Discovery and application of Lactococcus lactis JCM 5805 protecting from virus infection”, Kirin and Koiwai Dairy.”
