Toyota commercializes „GRAS-Di“ DNA marker technology which facilitates marker breeding

In cooperation with Kazusa DNA Research Institute, Eurofins and Genebay, Toyota will commercialize this technology developed in its Bioresearch Institute in Miyoshi. The technology is based on Genotyping by Random Amplicon Sequencing and allows the genetic screening of thousands of breeding variants of plants or animals at low cost. It was already successfully applied to rice breeding.
