Takeda transforms Shonan Research Institute into „Shonan Health Innovation Park“

Takeda Pharmaceutical Industries will build a Shonan Health Innovation Park” inviting external venture companies and academia researchers into its Shonan Research Laboratory. The model is Boston’s BioCluster where researchers interact with each other at cafes and where collaborative research is started and research ideas are born. In order to achieve such an environment, it is planned to collect 3,000 people, about three times the number of researchers at Takeda’s Shonan Research Institute. K-Pharma and Noile-Immune Biotech are the first Tokyo startups who will move to Shonan Health Innovation Park.”
