The 780 kg SOFC works on city gas and achieves overall energy efficiency of 90 % (power generation + heat recovery). The footprint is rather small (dimensions (mm): 1,880 (W) × 810 (D) × 1,780 (H)). Its market potential for bars, restaurants, sports and welfare facilities is estimated at about 100,000 units. The project was supported by NEDO under the „hydrogen/fuel cell roadmap program“.
