Maruko Fish Co. develops nano-type chondroitin with increased absorption in human GI

The material is produced from fish waste using a series of microchemical and purification steps resulting in reducing molecular weight and rearranging chemical bonds. Only water under high pressure is used in this process which was patented by Hokkaido Research Institute and supported by NEDO. The material will be offered as functional food additive, for cosmetics, in medicine etc.
