Japan Vaccine, a joint venture of several companies including Daiichi Sankyo and Terumo, has obtained manufacturing and sales permission for a device developed by Terumo that combines a needle and pre-filled syringe for the administration of Kitasato Daiichi Sankyo influenza HA vaccine into the upper parts of skin. This is believed to improve recognition by the immune system.
