Group at University of Tokyo Hospital studies adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells for plastic surgery

Based on mouse experiments, the group of Yoshimura KOTARO at the University of Tokyo Hospital for Plastic Surgery has published a study which shows that adipose-derived MSCs which contain a high amount of Muse cells (non-tumorigenic pluripotent adult stem cells) may be a good candidate for healing diabetes-related skin ulcers.
