RIKEN team obtains 2,5-fold increase of PHB in cyanobacteria upon enhancing SigE control factor

Using Synechocystis sp. as a model, the group succeeded to increase PHB formation 2,5 fold upon overexpressing sigma factor SigE under nitrogen starvation.
