Teikyo University and Fuji Soft start clinical research on otitis media using regenerated cartilage

Chondritis, or inflammation of the cartilage, may occur in the outer ear and lead to otitis media. The group around Ken ITO at Teikyo University has launched a clinical study to reconstruct resected parts of the ear with implanted regenerated cartilage, developed by Fuji Software. Doctor-led clinical trials are scheduled for 2020.
