The smart CP unit” cleanroom combines, in a space-saving space, an automatic cell culture apparatus P4CS made by Kaneka and a safety cabinet for carrying out operations such as bags and medium exchange. It is combined with an automatic “Quantum cell proliferation system” made by Terumo, an aseptic bonding system (TSCD-II), and a cell concentration and washing system (R – CS – S) all manufactured by Kaneka, allowing for primary cultures or expansion cultures, culture concentration and washing. The “smart CP unit” saves space, cost and has a short construction period compared with standard cell processing facilities (CPF) (space 75% reduction, construction period 80% reduction, cost 90% reduction).”
