Japan’s government will spend 10% more on R&D in FY2025

The government approved the 2025 R&D budget proposal at a cabinet meeting on December 27, 2024. The government’s overall science and technology promotion budget will increased by 12.9 billion yen from the previous fiscal year to 1.4221 trillion yen.
