Integriculture plans for 2 USD/kg for artificially cultured meat by 2026

The Tokyo-based venture company is developing cultured meat by proprietary cell culture technology and claims to have lowered production cost to 2000 USD/kg. By collaborating with plant makers in order to develop mass production technology, the company aims to reduce production cost to 2 USD/kg by around 2026, as the company’s President Yuki Hanyu revealed at “Smart Kitchen Summit Japan 2018”
