Teijin has notified the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency, PMDA, to introduce in spring 2018 a wearable cloth as general medical equipment (Class I). The Techno sensor ER” is capable to measure an electrocardiogram by 12 electordes. Technology is based on Nishijin’s textile technology.”
