JCR Pharma has developed „J-Brain Cargo“, a passage technology fort he blood-brain barrier (BBB) based on antibodies and peptides binding to proteins expressed on endothelial cells of brain capillaries such as the human transferrin recepetor (hTfR). NanoCarrier has designed micellized nanoparticles as drug delivery system which can transport nucleic acids or toxic anticancer drugs. Both companies will cooperate to improve the transport of drugs through the BBB.
