The core of the program is the development and test of a highly accurate 3D digital map („dynamic map“) necessary for automatic driving. It will be tested on expressways, ordinary roads, public roads, etc. and information security, e. g., inter-vehicle communication technology (V2P) and pedestrian high precision positioning/action prediction are key factors. About 50 companies and organizations are cooperating in the program; examples are Mitsubishi Electric, Toyota Map Master, Denso, Hitachi and many others.
