The test will be done at the Niijima demonstration facility and include a mix of wind power generation, diesel generators and storage batteries. Under a NEDO contract, TEPCO will combine output prediction, control of renewable energy and demand and supply operation to examine and evaluate the electric power system within the island to maximally use renewable energy and develop the best economic control technology.
