The facility will be in the central plant of Chubu Electric Power, as a demonstration facility for microalgae fuel production at low cost. The power plant’s waste gas and waste heat will be used by the microalgae culture as a source of carbon dioxide and energy, thereby reducing the cost of production of microalgae.
