The target is to predict and address old-age diseases (Me-Byo”) often increasing in people above age 75. The public-private partnership has been initiated and is supported by Kanagawa Prefecture which has recently organized a conference on this topic and comprises members from universities, government agencies and companies from various business fields such as Airweave, Kao Corporation, Kirin, Cedar Pharma, Secom, Daikin, TOTO, Panasonic, Millenia and Rohto Pharmaceutical .”
