As agreed by Minister SHIOZAKI of MHLW and the Musashimurayama city government, the first BSL4 facility of Japan will be built there under severy restrictions. BSL4 is a classification by the World Health Organization (WHO) for risk group 4 orgnisms which are lethal pathogens such as Ebola virus, Marburg virus or Lassa virus.
