University of Tokyo Medical Hospital achieves regenerating tracheal cartilage from ear cartilage, experiments on dogs

Using 5 dogs with tracheal anastomosis, cartilage from their ears was expanded and transplanted into the damaged cartilage, resulting in normal breathing.
