AIST team develops dimming mirror which transmits > 70 % of visible light

Using a 60 nm thin film made from magnesium-yttrium-based alloys, visible light transmittance in the transparent state and solar transmittance of 71.3% was reached. The film will be used in car glass and for energy-saving windows.
