A phospholipid-florigen complex regulates flowering in plants

In a collaborative project with researchers in Taiwan, Bonn and Cologne (Germany), a group at Tokyo University of Agricultural Science and Technology found that the binding of diurnally oscillating phospholipids to the plant hormone florigen regulates the onset of flowering in the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana.
