Council for Science and Technology Policy starts evaluation of 21,3 billion Yen „Target Protein Research Program“.

The program aims to reveal the structure and function of proteins that have great importance in both academic research and industrial application. It started as a five-year plan in FY 2007 with a budget of 5.5 billion yen, and more than 150 scientists are now conducting researches on 43 subjects.
