Osaka team solves structure of inhibitor-loaded multidrug efflux protein, a key protein for bacterial antibiotic resistance

The structure was done for RND-type multidrug efflux protein from P. aeruginosa and is hoped to yield clues for the development of antimicrobial drugs which are not reckognized by this protein.
