Details are not yet disclosed. Biomass-originating substrates such as sugar or ethanol can be used as substrate, and three enzymes are used at the anode, one at the cathode. A performance of 14,7 mW/cm2 was obtained, and 200 Wh/kg, about 50 % of a lithium ion battery or a hydrogen fuel cell. Development time was 4 years so far.
